I say ‘at long last’ as the hobo bag is my No.1 favourite style of handbag! It never dates and to use every day, it really is the perfect bag. I have a hobo style at home in my handbag collection and it’s the one I use the most.

Lulu Guinness is an incredible, quirky, fun and sophisticated designer who created her brand in 1989 and was awarded an OBE by the queen for her services to British fashion. Nothing is ever compromised with even the lining of every bag contrasting and designed to perfection. Lulu has some of her collectors pieces exhibited at the V&A museum. Pure creative genius! I love my accessories as they do the talking and it’s incredible how the chosen piece can create a second glance and become a real conversation piece.

This gorgeous bag is only available with us at QVC and when people ask why I love this design there really isn’t one answer but it’s down to the shape – it’s not too big or small, it goes over the shoulder with shirts and a jacket or coat. The leather in this style is really shown to its best with its sumptuous grainy, beautifully draped look and feel. I can put make-up, keys, diary, my mini Lulu Guinness umbrella and so much more when I am out and about during a busy day and it never looks bulky. Julien Macdonald OBE is gracing our screens tonight with a rather glamorous TSV. A humble Welsh fashion designer born in Merthyr Tydfil, Julien was taught to knit by his mother which sparked his interest in design. He then went on to study textiles at the Faculty of Arts and Architecture, Brighton before becoming a student at the Royal college of Art, where he gained a Master’s degree. Not long after graduating, Julien was recruited by Karl Lagerfield to work for Chanel and in 2001 he was named British fashion designer of the year.

In 2006, Julien was awarded an OBE by the Queen for his services to the fashion industry and many of you may remember him for his flamboyant appearance On Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 or for his judging role on Britain’s Next Top Model.

Julien is not only super talented but such a lovely, warm and funny guy – we hit it off immediately when we met for his QVC launch fashion runway show! Julien has brought a signature homeware range to QVC which has been a huge success, and on Wednesday we are bringing you a glamorous set of two mirrored candle holders in a choice of silver, black or rose gold (you can catch it early here!). Julien wanted to interpret the candelabra as a tealight/candle holder, and it can be used with three tealights or three candles.

Gosh where has the year gone? I love this time of year with Halloween, bonfire night and then my favourite time of year is Christmas. But I do not enjoy the change of weather. I am truly a sun girl who loves nothing but shorts, bikinis and flip flops. The feeling of freedom on the body without layers of clothes and the warmth on your muscles and joints is the best feeling ever.

I decided to take a little break with hubby from the cold to some beautiful sunshine before the craziness of Christmas begins at the Q. Mind you, I never tire of Christmas at the Q and would have our beautiful Christmas trees in the studio all year round if I could. I’m sure I was meant to be Tinkerbell sitting on the top of the tree guarding its beauty.

We were so lucky with the weather as it was 89/92 degrees every day and the ocean is beautiful and calm this time of year on this side of the coast. Of course us girls never go lightly when it comes to toiletries and accessories. That’s not including the shoes with ‘just in case’ labels on them.

My Ruby Rocks sunglasses in Rose looked fab and I wore them every day out and about and on the beach and my Lola Rose tote was fantastic, light, roomy and stylish and perfect for all our beach and pool necessities.

I wore my Links of London earrings every day on the beach, by the pool and out in the evening. I was so glad I bought them (for a friend – lol!) then ended up ordering another pair to wear myself. Just the perfect size and they look effortlessly stylish.

My breakfast ritual is always a trip to my favourite organic health cafe for my delicious Green smoothie full of goddess goodness (spinach, banana, kale, mango, chia seeds and coconut water). It’s a super smoothie for your immune system, detoxifying and full of protein. Avocado on toasted spelt bread is one of my faves with mashed avocado, lemon, chilli, orange blossom and honey drizzle. I don’t normally drink coffee but they do the best organic raw latte with coconut milk. The cup was huge so sharing was allowed on this one.

I use Gatineau Tan Accelerator all summer which is the reason in just a week I had a beautiful glowing colour and with Ultrasun, my skin was well hydrated and protected. I love the SPF50 Anti Pigmentation for the Face and the SPF50 Extreme for the Body or the SPF50 Sport when I do my daily run on the beach whilst the dolphins swim by.

Another gem from Ultrasun I have discovered is the SPF30 for the eyes, which I use as my daily eye cream whilst away. The texture is beautiful. In or out of the sun my Ultrasun Lip Balm goes with me everywhere as it keeps my lips hydrated 24/7. My hair is always treated in Ultrasun Hair Protection and Elasticized every other day whilst away then back to my routine of twice a week when at home. Color Wow came with me in two small tubes that come with the Supersize and I would really struggle without it. My hair stays glossy, shiny and keeps the colour as if I just stepped out of the hairdressers. Even though I have fine hair my hair loves the normal to thick conditioner.

I love my Mally Volumising Mascara and Tarte mascara – Lights, Camera Lashes but the beauty team asked me to try out the Westmore Mascara and the Benefit Rollerlash Mascara. I have very sensitive eyes so I was a little nervous in the beginning. I used the Westmore in the day, on the beach, by the pool and when doing my morning run. What I loved about it was it created the look of wearing delicate false eyelashes that gave a good mascara coat at the base then fluttered out and is incredibly flattering. I wore it every day and have continued to use it in the day at home.

I used the Benefit Rollerlash when we went out for dinner in the evening and it gave me long fabulous lashes that looked natural with no clumping mascara. Using it over my Tarte primer was truly the wow effect and I have been wearing it on air since I have been back. You might want to also check out the Westmore camouflage which I launched recently and used all over my body in the tan option at my girlfriend’s wedding before I went away. My gosh she looked stunning and what a fabulous day. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Not a drop went onto my dress, I was so impressed and it never budged until I showered.

Now back with a bang, certainly a change in the weather but I can’t wait for Christmas, spending time at home with family and my beautiful handsome fella Mr B.

I am the Perricone Queen. This is the TSV of the year for me as I think I am Perricone’s number one fan. It’s the perfect way to try the range if you are new to it, with a Today’s Special Value price and insane value.

I go back to Perricone every time and some pieces I never stop using even though I get to try so many different skincare ranges from QVC. I have to keep something in my routine from the range as I see such a big difference in my skin when I don’t use it and I get the most comments when I do use it.

I think you can tell Perricone skin. It appears firmer, more refined and flawless. But it’s a very different way of treating the skin. This has always been my motto! If you don’t have your health what do you have? Health and wellbeing is so important in our lives, it allows us to love and live life to the very best we can. Life is no rehearsal, this is it!!

As many of you know I have always chosen to live my life extremely healthily, to me it’s a way of life and to be honest I really don’t know any different as it’s naturally a huge part of my life that I absolutely love.

Recently I discovered The Ordinary Foundation Serum whilst presenting the Deciem TSV with the company CEO Nicola, a beautiful ray of sunshine we all need in our lives. I was very impressed. It leaves the skin dewy and glowing and is chasing the tail of No Foundation Foundation. Looks like I have another choice in my make-up bag.

I have been a Lola girl long before it arrived at QVC. My girlfriend bought me a piece for my birthday from Fenwick’s of London when Nikki’s pieces first came on the scene and Lola Rose then was only available in a few places. Of course my necklace was a heart and it tied beautifully with suede and became an iconic piece and was often spotted on one of our Royals many years later.

It’s been a long time coming I know and  due to the amount of messages I get asking what I use on my hair I thought I would write to you over two blogs. My hair routine is in fact practically fuss-free and with great results…

My shampoo and conditioner is from Color Wow. My fine hair loves the gel shampoo texture of which I use two or three pumps each wash. Surprisingly I use the normal to thick conditioner and again three or four pumps . For me a great shampoo and conditioner is where it all starts. Using luke-warm water I massage the shampoo into the palm of my hands before I put it in my hair so it’s not just sitting in my scalp. I massage the conditioner into the ends and mid length to get as much conditioner into this area as possible. I rinse with cool water to create the extra gloss and shine.

I use a Tangle Teezer to comb through my damp hair. I do it very  gently so as not to break the hair, but first I use a few spritzes of Daily Damage & Defence by Philip Kingsley to give my hair strength and to help detangle. It’s known as Elastisizer  in a bottle. My hair loves oils and after combing through I use three pumps of either Liz Earle Hair Oil or Living Proof Hair Oil. Both are superb and they don’t leave the hair looking flat or feeling greasy. I push it into and through my hair with my palms flat and the ends of my hair with my fingertips.

Now it’s ready to rough dry with the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. As I am only rough drying and not styling with  the hairdryer you can use a hairdryer that works for you or try the Babyliss Smooth Vibrancy hairdryer, but the Dyson is super quick cutting down my drying time. I then add a few more drops of oil to the slightly frizzy sections and then I’m ready to style with my Babyliss Big Barrel Hot Brush which creates my style so quickly leaving me with smooth glossy waves. It’s the best hairstyler I have ever used.

Maintaining my hair I think is what makes a huge difference to it looking good or unkempt. Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer has been part of my routine for many years and if I don’t use it I regret it and my hair truly suffers. It doesn’t just make a small difference for me, it’s the difference between hair that has life, shine and volume after just one treatment to hair that can look dull, lifeless and dry. I use it up to three times a week and often sleep in it or leave it in all day, but of course you can leave it in for just a few hours. Don’t forget to use it whilst on holiday too if you can, as the sun can truly damage your hair in just a two week holiday.

Every six weeks I use the Hairfix Cleansing Conditioner. It’s superb and brings your hair back to life as it cleans away all the build-up. Ensure you read the instructions before use as it’s an unusual texture and you need to be specific on how it’s used. If you have your hair coloured, use this the night before and you won’t believe how your colour will look even better after it’s done.

I have always been a fan of the next two products. Firstly, Viviscal. I have invested in Viviscal since it was launched at QVC and helps to maintain the volume in my hair, and this is what I get a lot of wonderful comments about. It’s easy to take and just two a day does the trick, but you need to stick with it and be committed to see results as you’re not going to see a difference in just a few weeks. I think it’s worth the investment as our hair is our crowning glory and when we get older we are precious about every hair as it tends to get thinner and finer.

The Hairfix Follicle Plus Anti Age Haircare is a product I tried when it launched at QVC purely because I was skeptical and had to see it to believe it. I cannot rave about it enough. It sits by my bathroom sink and is used religiously every other night. I have the routine down to a tee, and it only takes me minutes to apply. I found the results astounding and it definitely gave me the results of thicker fuller looking hair around the hairline, widow’s peak and on the crown of the head. Those key areas where we start to see a change in as we get older. A small amount goes a long way too, so don’t over use it as its very tempting to in this 100ml size. Share it with the guys too. Just massage it into the areas of concern with your fingertips – great, easy, quick application. I apply it before I go to bed and wash it out the next day.

Finally, for those pesky grey hairs coming through Color Wow Root Cover Up is superb. I use the Platinum colour and it covers grey hair brilliantly and only comes out when you wash your hair with shampoo, so no rainy day disasters. The choice of colours is superb and it’s so easy to apply with no mess and it looks just like an eyeshadow. Just be brave and get stuck in as there’s no real technique. It’s perfect if you tie your hair back but tend not to when your colour needs doing as your hairline is showing too much grey. Tie your hair back and just apply it around the hair line. It will also get you more time away from the hairdressers and save you money on those regular visits to get your colour done.

Finally, good nutrition is a huge part of healthy, shiny hair, so ensure you eat well with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
