I hope you all had a lovely few days break over Easter and managed to tune in to some wonderful shows on the Q, and enjoyed some of our Easter offers that we brought you.
I am just delighted the weather has finally turned and the layers of clothing are getting less and the heating can be turned off and we can enjoy the fresh spring air. I am truly a sunshine girl, it just makes us feel so much better huh!
I always take a closer look at my skin when a new season is upon us and make a few changes as I think our skin has different needs in the summer. I prefer lighter textures with anti-ageing benefits and definitely less make-up so my skin can breathe, not that I wear a lot anyway but I like a skin tint and a lighter foundation.
Here are a few of my favourites you’ll find in my make-up bag:
Bareminerals Complexion Rescue is my summer foundation on-air and on nights out. There are a few options but I’ve added the one with the professional brush for a flawless application. You can also buy it in the supersize if you love it.
No Foundation Foundation has always been one of my favourites as I am a true Perriconeista. I love it on holiday and out in the day and I can add another layer for more coverage. This will never leave my make-up bag. I love the skincare benefits. A quick tip when you apply it, let it settle after application and maybe pop on your mascara before you add your blusher.
Sarah Chapman’s Skin Insurance. I have been using this recently in the evening before I go into QVC. The make-up artists put Complexion Rescue over the top. It has a whipped texture and gives a flawless finish and it’s a true lightweight skin tint. It’s one colour and adapts to your skin tone with an SPF 30.
If I’m on holiday or out in the sun and I want a good SPF I’ll use Ultrasun Tinted Face Fluid in SPF 50 or the SPF 30 I am loving the new SPF 50 lighter texture I experienced on air with the founder Abby Cleave this week.
